Garden Festival, Firefighters breakfast in Harriston

MINTO - Visitors to the Harriston-Minto Community Centre this weekend can enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading outside to fill their spring gardening needs.

The Harriston  and  District Horticultural Society is hosting its annual garden festival on June 4, after cancelling the event during the past two pandemic-impacted summers.

Sixteen vendors are expected to be on hand and a raffle will be held.

The event runs from 8am to 2pm at the Harriston Community Centre Pavilion.

Inside the community centre, Minto Harriston station firefighters will be serving up their traditional pancake breakfast, beginning at 7am.
