GARTLEY, Debra

The family regrets to announce the passing of Debra Louise Gartley, 69 years of age, resident of Fergus, Ontario, passed away suddenly on February 21, 2023. Deb was born on July 16th, 1953 to Harry and Edna McGowan in Orangeville, Ontario. In 1970, Deb married her loving husband (Bob) Robert Gartley having three children; Heather, Rob and Greg Gartley. Predeceased by husband Robert Gartley (2017). Survived by daughter Heather (friend Mike), Rob and his wife Vanessa, and Greg. She leaves behind the loves of her life- her four grandchildren; Brianna, Caleb, Ryden and Corson. Soon to be great grandmother to the daughter of Brianna and Baset (husband). Survived by sisters Nelda Golightly and Erla McGowan. Predeceased by sister Wanda Taylor and brother William McGowan. Fondly remembered by members of the Gartley family, including brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to Deb’s close friends and acquaintances. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
