GEERLINKS, Grace (nee Drost)
Of Drayton went peacefully home to be with her Lord surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Barnswallow Place, Elmira in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Bert Geerlinks for 61 years. Cherished mother of the late Don Geerlinks (2014) and Tracey Geerlinks and Gil LeBlanc of Plattsville, Yvonne and Philip Vandenberg of Moorefield, Shirley and Clarence Drost of Elmira, Randy and Lisa Geerlinks of Drayton, and Kevin and Suzanna Geerlinks of Ariss. Dearest Grandma of Megan and Devin Martin, Jessa Geerlinks, Beth Geerlinks, and Dan Woudstra; Tammie Vandenberg, Scott and Lee-Anne Vandenberg, Brett and Axel Graham, and Paul Vandenberg; Dennis and Janette Drost, Mike and Christine Drost, and Jeff and Anita Drost; Alexandria, Karissa and Becca Geerlinks; Colleen and Connor Stanley, Derric, and Gordon Geerlinks. Beloved great grandmother to thirteen great grandchildren. Sister of the late Diny Rumph (2017) and Hilbert Rumph, the late John Drost (2013) and Sharon Drost (2017), the late Luke Drost (2011) and Jane Drost, Ann and Albert Rumph, the late Linda Marissen (2020) and Jake Marissen, the late Helen McClymont (2018) and Jerry McClymont (2021), Jenny and Sid Sigtema, and Alice and Fred Kuper. Sister-in-law of John and Jane Geerlinks, Fred and Jenny Geerlinks, the late George Geerlinks (2009) and Rita Geerlinks, Mary and Henry Eygenraam, Jean Osterloo and the late Bill Osterloo (2014), and Harry and Betty Geerlinks. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Lukas and Jane Drost, and parents-in-law John and Alice Geerlinks. The family will receive friends at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church 88 Main Street East, Drayton on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Pastor Wes Collins will conduct the funeral service in the Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11am followed by interment in Drayton Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at Barnswallow Place, whom she considered family for the past 6 years. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Community Christian School would be appreciated.
