William ‘Bill’ George Gibson of Drew passed away at his home on Monday, October 30, 2023, in his 89th year. Husband of Audrey (Moore) Gibson for 67 years. Father of Brian & Harriet Gibson of Kincardine, Debbie & Swayne Thomas of Waterloo, and Tom & Barb Gibson of Clifford. Grandfather of Andrew Gibson & Kelly, Katherine Gibson, Keisha Thomas, Easton Thomas & Sharon, Adam Gibson & Hana, Jen Gibson, and Sara Gibson, and great-grandfather of 5. Brother of Terry & Joanne Gibson, and Gary Gibson, and brother-in-law of Muriel Gibson and Marilyn Gibson. Predeceased by his brothers Art Gibson and wife Mary, James Gibson, and Larry Gibson, and by his parents Gordon and Hazel (Newman) Gibson. Bill loved farming, gardening, sports, and travelling. He especially loved his family, and any time spent with his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 12:00 noon until the time of the time of the funeral service at 1:30pm. The service will be livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website. Interment in Clifford Cemetery.
