Golden bicycles support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
MOUNT FOREST – The downtown area here is once again lined with golden bicycles in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Organizers from the Downtown Mount Forest group say this year’s September campaign is once again raising funds for the family of Simon Edgar-Dickert, a local youth battling brain cancer, was well as some other local families and Ronald McDonald House. The 2020 Gold Bike Campaign raised over $17,000. A fundraising barbecue will be held on Sept. 25 from 11:30am to 2pm in the Country Carpet and Furniture parking lot with all proceeds going to the campaign. Downtown Mount Forest members thanked local realtor Drew Nelson and A+ Catering for their donations in support of the event. Photo by Patrick Raftis
