GUELPH – A Fergus resident charged in relation to a bomb threat at Walmart last fall will be back in court on March 24.

Marjorie Anne Gray, a Walmart employee, was charged in December with uttering threats, falsifying information and mischief.

The incident occurred on Nov. 19 at around 1pm, when Wellington County OPP responded to a threat made against the Fergus Walmart on St. David Street North. About an hour later the threat was deemed a hoax.

In a Dec. 11 press release police announced that “a note” was found at the scene that indicated there was “a bomb” in the building.

Gray’s matter was first discussed at the Ontario Court of Justice on Wyndham Street in Guelph on Feb. 25.

Lawyers exchanged disclosure and will meet again on March 24 to review it.
