God had her mansion ready and with her family by her side, he called her home on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the age of 90 years. Esther Louisa (Behrns) Hallman was the beloved wife of the late Derril Hallman (2015), and mother of Steven and Kelly Hallman, and Maribeth and Alex Hoover all of Clifford, and the late Kevin Hallman (1986). Grandmother of Amber-Lee and Abraham Jarquin of Kitchener, Candice Hallman of Clifford, Amanda Hoover and Andy Bowman of Listowel, Jessica Hoover of Harriston, and the late Derril Hoover, and great-grandmother of Taleah and Harlowe Jarquin. Sister of Marjorie Douglas of Harriston, and Anne Waymouth of Owen Sound, and sister-in-law of Marion Behrns of Listowel. Esther was predeceased by parents Norman and Ella (Dally) Behrns and stepmother Muriel, sisters Alice Douglas and husband Murray, Eleanor Hamilton and husbands Dave Morrison and Elmore Hamilton, and by her brothers Russell Behrns and William Behrns and wife Norma, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Elwood Douglas, Ross Waymouth, Donald Hallman, Elaine and Lloyd Nickel, and Gail and Dale Hartwick. Visitation was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service was held at Knox United Church, Clifford on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:00pm. Spring interment in Clifford Cemetery. The service was live-streamed, and the link was on the funeral home website. Memorial donations to Knox United Church or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
