HARRISTON – A Halloween Haunt is happening here.

Hosted by Harriston Rising, the 2021 Haunt is set to take place on Oct. 29 from 6 to 8pm. Harriston’s main street will be closed through the downtown area for the event.

Youngsters are encouraged to dress up in costume and join in the “Monster Mash” for a chance to win prizes. Adults to also encouraged to get in the Halloween spirit and come in costume.

Treats will be available for children at participating businesses.

There will be music and food vendors downtown during the event.

Pre-registration

Participants should pre-register by Oct. 22 by following the link from harristonrising.ca or @harristonrising on social media.

The event begins at Tannery Park, where participants should enter from the Mill Street side of and pick up loot bag for collecting treats to begin the evening.

They can then follow the path to get treats, play games, have some food and exit by the Harriston Town Hall Theatre for a chance to win a costume prize.

Check-in times will vary depending on age. Pre-register to learn more. Participants must have a Halloween Haunt treat bag in order to receive treats downtown.
