HALLS, Irene “Reenie”
Irene “Reenie” Halls was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. It is with deepest sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Reenie at Barnswallow Place Care Community in Elmira on Sunday November 26th, 2023 at the age of 98. Reenie was born in Fergus, venturing to Mount Forest after raising children in their Alma home. You could always find Reenie with a bingo dabber playing the local games and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs. Reenie was the beloved wife of late Bill Halls. Dearest mother to Murial (Gilbert) Gilkes, Shirley (Wilford) Bott, Sach (Ramona) Halls, Earl (Vicki) Halls, Ken (Jean) Halls, Bonnie, Larry, Nancy. Reenie will be missed by all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Donations in Reenies memory can be made to Make a Wish Foundation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:30am at the Elora Cemetery, 367 South St, Elora, Ontario.
