Anneliesse Hill, 3, and her mom Tine were among the large turnout of skaters at Centre 2000 in Erin on New Year’s Day for the annual levee hosted by Mayor Allan Alls and members of town council. There were free drinks and snacks, plus off-ice activities for the kids. Canada’s first New Year’s levee was hosted by the governor of New France in 1646.  Photo by Phil Gravelle
