Headwater Arts to present ‘Wonder and Whimsy’ art show on May 25
CALEDON – Headwaters Arts is set to present its third annual “Tapestry of Art and Music”, a musically themed, art show sale and fundraising event on May 25 from 2 to 5pm at the Alton Mill Arts Centre in Caledon.
The afternoon festivities are all happening in the outdoor arts space, featuring a concert performance by the Oakville Choir for Children and Youth and the unveiling of a mosaic tapestry, created by young and experienced Ontario artists. New this year is the presentation of the Young New Artist of the Year Award.
Guest are invited to participate in a free draw to win an original work by local/international artist, Paul Morin.
The event is free, but $20 per person donations to support the event are welcome. Each donation qualifies for a free draw ticket for the Paul Morin painting.
All proceeds from the sale of art works support Headwaters Arts.
