Hooves for Hospice in Centre Wellington
Susan Saracino and her horse Charlie were looking forward to the ride, but Charlie got spooked and wouldn’t go. Saracino said her mother died in May and used a hospice, so the event was even more meaningful for her this year.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Once again, Lynn Smillie and Peter Creighton opened their property on 4th Line in Centre Wellington to horse riders for the annual Hooves for Hospice event on Oct. 14 – a fundraiser for Hospice Wellington. About 25 riders came out this year, which is down from previous rides, but organizers were still pleased with the turnout. Photos by Joanne Shuttleworth
