Jack o’ lanterns get one last chance to shine at Pumpkin Walk
Ashley Penney collected pumpkins from neighbours on her street, dropping off a trunk-load at the museum’s Heritage Barn on Friday morning.

ABOYNE – The Wellington County Museum and Archives took in donations of carved pumpkins on Nov. 1, lighting the jack o’ lanterns up one more time for the enjoyment of visitors at the Pumpkin Walk event.

Penney’s daughter, Callie Penney, helped her to unload and place the pumpkins.
By the time the pumpkins were lit in the evening, there were hundreds accumulated in clusters and rows. Visitors enjoyed walking among them, admiring the carvings and taking photos of the display. Photos by Jessica Lovell
