JOHNSTON, Randy Alexander

Surrounded by his family, Randy Johnston of Fergus passed away peacefully at the age of 70. Randy was a devoted husband of 47 years to Mary-Lynne Johnston (Nee Spray), a loving father to Kerry-Lynne (Joseph), Matthew (Kevin) and Jeanette (Mathew) and a beloved grandfather to Alexander, Abbigail and Leah. Randy is survived by his sisters Sandra (Wayne) Bowman, Connie (Wayne) Halls, brother Kevin (Marilyn) Johnston, brother-in-law Rick McKenna and many other brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Randy is predeceased by his parents Harold “Bill” and Dorothy Johnston and his sister Deanna McKenna. Randy’s family would like to send their appreciation to the staff at Guelph General Hospital ICU for their exceptional care of Randy in the weeks preceding his death. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to MS Canada or Guelph General Hospital - ICU would be appreciated by the family. Following Randy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
