LADD, Glenise Leona (née Hurd)
It is with great sadness that the family of Glenise Leona Ladd (née Hurd) announces her passing on February 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at Highland Manor. Glenise, born on July 5th, 1931, was the daughter of Sarah and Abraham Hurd. She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons: Stewart (Kathy), Andrew (Carla), and Pat (Barb); her grandchildren: Jasmine (Andrew), Darren (Taylor), Jordan (Sadie), Hunter, and Nathan; as well as her great-grandchildren: Ben, Chloe, and Sophie. Glenise was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harold, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. To know Glenise was to love her, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her was deeply blessed. The service to honour and remember the life of Glenise Leona Ladd (née Hurd) will be held on Saturday, February 10th, 2024. The service will take place at Belsyde Cemetery at 11am. Following the service, we invite you to join us in a celebration of Glenise’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion Fergus Hall from 12pm to 3pm.
