LANGDON, John (Jack) Michael
It is with great sadness the family of John (Jack) Michael Langdon announce his passing on October 1, 2023. Jack will be deeply missed by his partner Lois Chabot, and children Duane (Melinda) and Diane. Predeceased by his wife Ruth (2000), parents George and Annie, and brothers George and Paul. Remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friends and all those that knew him through his love of hockey and lacrosse. Jack loved nothing more than to share his love and knowledge of lacrosse, so much so, that coaches would seek him out to mentor their goalies after he stopped coaching himself. He also loved to tinker with anything that needed fixing and was a wizard with sewing machines, even designing his own parts during his time at Savage Shoes. The family would like to thank the staff of Guelph General and Groves Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion shown him these past several weeks. Jack did not want a service, so please celebrate his life and memory when you gather with friends and family. A drink or two is prerequisite. Donations in his memory can be made to the MS Society of Canada and the Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse Association.
