GUELPH – Equine Guelph hosted a large animal emergency rescue workshop for firefighters on Canada Day weekend in Guelph. Participants practiced a downed-horse scenario using a 600-pound mannequin named “Rusti” (trailer was provided by System Equine) and also learned how to evacuate horses during a barn fire.
