LARSEN, Eilif

Of Waterloo and formerly of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, August 28, 2023 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Jensen) for 70 years.  Dear father of Ole and Deanie Larsen of Arthur and Marianne McIntosh of Waterloo. Dear grandfather of Robert Larsen and Amanda Toner, Randy Larsen and Stephanie Larsen and Barry Durocher; Carolyn McIntosh and Christine McIntosh. Great grandfather of Anika, Isabella, Leah, Syler, Sophia, Chris and Owen. Brother of Esther Larsen and brother-in-law of Grete Larsen of Denmark. Fondly remembered by his family and friends in Canada and Denmark.  To honour Eilif’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service of remembrance will be held in the Gordonville Presbyterian Church, Gordonville on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00am. Private family interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Gordonville Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
