LAVECK, Edward Joseph (Ted)
Passed away peacefully at the Hospital in Courtenay, B.C. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 with his loving wife Vivian by his side. He is survived by the love of his life of 31 years Vivian (Gennings). Predeceased by his parents Edward and Agnes (Driscoll) Laveck McCarthy. Loving brother of Marg (Vic), Betty (Dan), Jean, Pat (Charlie) and Mary McCarthy. Brother-in-law of Wayne (Liz), Vicki (Charlie), Neil (Joanne), Vonnie (Dave), Todd (Karen), Valerie. Fun-loving Uncle Ted to many nieces and nephews and fondly remembered by his life-long friends and family, all of whom he treasured. Ted was such a kind-hearted, humorous and upbeat gentle-giant of a man, making friends every step of his journey. Ted always saw the positive and best in everyone and everything. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Wellington County Museum on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:15pm followed by a Reception until 4:00pm.
