Of Elmira passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2024 in his 80th year. Glen leaves behind his loving wife Norma (Wilson) for 38 years. Brother of Mary-Ann (Oliver) Gregory and brother-in-law of Cathy Leader. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, one great great niece and friends. Predeceased by his parents Mabel and Theodore Leader and brother Jim Leader. Glen and Norma shared their love of travel, cruises, road trips, casinos and country music. Glen worked at Uniroyal in Elmira for 27 years and then as a crossing guard for Riverside School for 10 years. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Friday, March 15, 2024 12:30 to 1:45pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glen’s memory to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, Heart Function Clinic or Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.  Spring interment in Bethesda Cemetery.
