Leadership transition at Credit Valley Conservation

MISSISSAUGA – The Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) has announced that, effective immediately, Quentin Hanchard is no longer serving as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

The CVC Board of Directors made the decision.

The board announced that parks, land and community engagement director Terri LeRoux is now acting CAO as the conservation authority looks for a replacement.

“Terri is a highly respected leader at CVC and across the watershed,” said Brampton councillor and board chair Michael Palleschi in a press release.

“Her collaborative approach and deep understanding of our programs make her well-positioned to guide the organization forward.”

Palleschi thanked Hanchard, the outgoing CAO, for his contributions.

The press release did not provide any detail about the circumstances surrounding Hanchard’s departure.

CVC is a conservation authority mandated to protect, restore and enhance the Credit River Watershed.

Erin is one of 12 municipalities that fund the CVC.

Erin Mayor Michael Dehn sits on the board, representing the town.
