Lennox invited to participate in AMO solid waste task force
KENILWORTH - Wellington North Mayor Andy Lennox will be taking to the provincial stage as part of an Association of Municipalities of Ontario solid waste task force.
On Dec. 16, Lennox informed Wellington North councillors he was invited to take part in the task force or the re-establishment of that task force.
However, the first meeting of that group conflicts with the first township council meeting in February.
Lennox had already spoken to councillor Dan Yake, who would be on the roster to chair the meeting in the mayor’s absence.
“So, we’ll get out of here early,” Yake joked.
