Let it Grow program offered for Minto youth in Grades 1 to 6

CLIFFORD – Budding youth gardeners here can join a free six-week program for children in Grades 1 to 6.

Let it Grow, offered by the Clifford and District Horticultural Society, will run from 6:30 to 7pm on Wednesdays between April 6 and May 14 at the Rotary Park Pavillion on Allan Street East. Organizers state the series will be a fun, hands-on introduction to various gardening topics, including:

- how water moves in soil and plants;

- how to grow new plants;

- how to grow new trees;

- how to care for gardens;

- how to grow vegetables; and

- how to help bees and butterflies.
