Little Mermaid musical coming to Guelph
GUELPH – Royal City Musical Productions Inc. (RCMPI), a community theatre company based in Guelph, has announced its latest production, a musical rendition of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
The show will run from Nov. 20 to 24, with evening and matinee performances on the main stage at the River Run Centre in Guelph.
Directed by Oliver Pavia, this musical is based on Disney’s 1989 animated classic and featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright.
The Little Mermaid is an enchanting tale of love, courage and following one’s dreams, with songs like “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” and “Kiss the Girl,” officials say.
