LONGPRE, Suzanne Elizabeth

Passed away peacefully at Arbour Trails on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in her 77th year, surrounded by the love of her family. Dear sister of Catherine (Guelph, ON), Michael (Qu’Appelle, SK), and Simone (Vancouver, BC) and best friend of Audrey Lounder (Moncton, NB) and Kathy Irving (Puslinch, ON) among many others. Suzanne is predeceased by her parents Albert and Elizabeth (Isaby) and her sister Patricia. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Suzanne loved dogs, she will be missed by her Riley. Suzanne had an almost 40 year career with the Co-Operators Insurance company. She first worked in Regina and then moved to the Head Office in Guelph in 1978 where she worked until her retirement and finishing her career as a Director of her department. Suzanne was a longtime member of the I.O.D.E. (Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire). She also spent many years involved with Community and Family Services and even served time on the board. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com). Memorial contributions to the Community Living Guelph Wellington would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Suzanne E. Longpre in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
