MacEACHERN, Elinor

Elinor Marian MacEachern (nee Crow), of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Monday, November 4th, 2024 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Murray MacEachern. Loving mother of Margaret and her husband Dave Echlin, the late George (infant), Rob MacEachern and his wife Jackie, and Kathy and her husband Tony Curtis. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Echlin and Shannon Mulville, Alanna and Cory Tucker, Janelle and Pat Shakell, Jaleh and John Nesbitt, Jodie and Lynn Givens, Jillian MacEachern and Levi Bates, and Jasper and Sion Murphy. Great-grandmother of Paisley, Madelynn, Lilly, Ethan, Eddie, Jackson, McCullough, Bryson, Brinley, Beckett, Payton, Colt, and Fallon. Dear sister of Liz and the late Clive Elvidge, Patti and John McCulloch, and Audrey and Dennis Domm.  Sister-in-law of Ron and Ellenor MacEachern, Eleanor and Warren Wolfe, and Joan and Joe Adam. Loving daughter of the late Harold and the late Pearl Crow, and daughter-in-law of the late Donald and the late Beatrice MacEachern. Visitation was held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Thursday, November 7th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm. A funeral service celebrating Elinor’s life was held at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham on Friday at 12pm. Interment at Holstein Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham Presbyterian Church (general fund) or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
