MAINLAND, Daisy (nee Turner)
Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home, Fergus surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Ray Wilson Mainland (2016). Loving mother of Mary (Gord) Dingman of Elora and Tom (Jill) Mainland of Tiverton. Cherished grandma of Tara (Spencer) Mainland Tudor of Tiverton. Extra proud great grandma of Bingham. Survived by sister-in-law Verna Mainland of Guelph. Predeceased by son Peter Mainland, her parents William and Catherine Turner and brother Walter Turner. To honour Daisy’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street Arthur on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A private family service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. Spring interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to Wellington Terrace or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
