Maitland Valley Conservation Authority’s general manager, secretary treasurer retiring in 2026

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Maitland Valley Conservation Authority’s (MVCA) long-serving general manager and secretary treasurer Phil Beard will be retiring in 2026. Beard announced his plans in a letter to MVCA members at their September meeting. He has been with the organization for 46 years and has been general manager and secretary treasurer since 1998. A recruitment process is now underway ahead of Beard’s retirement in July 2026.
