Man arrested after several sightings of nude person
GUELPH – A Guelph man has been arrested in connection with several recent incidents of a nude man on local trails and parks.
Between May 4 and 13, at least six people contacted the Guelph Police Service after encounters with a nude male while using public recreational spaces, police stated in a May 15 press release.
“He was identified and spoken to by police following the third incident but continued the behaviour in the following days. Children were present for some of the interactions.”
A 50-year-old Guelph man was charged with six counts of mischief (interfering with the lawful enjoyment of property) as well as breaching a probation order.
