MAPLETON – The second meeting for the Mapleton Home for the Holidays 4-H club was held on Nov. 4 at leader Lynne Flewwelling’s house.

The meeting was opened with the 4-H pledge and the roll call was name your favourite Christmas recipes.

Then we got right into cooking. We made appetizers, pinwheel  wraps and simple cheese straws. Then we made holiday chocolate chip cookies and gum drop loaf.

The craft for the night was making letter ornaments with twine.  The meeting was closed with the 4-H motto and tasting our cooking.
