Mapleton 4-H holds first meeting of Home for the Holidays project

MAPLETON – A Mapleton 4-H meeting was held at Lynne Flewwelling’s on Oct. 28 at 7pm. It was the first meeting of the Home for the Holidays project, which is all about Christmas. As the first meeting was prior to Halloween, they had a Halloween theme. They made pumpkin rice crispy squares, spider cookies, haystack mystery creatures and pumpkin biscuits. For the craft, they painted Halloween pots. The club held elections and Felicity is president, Lance is vice president, Avery is secretary and Jack is press reporter.
