Mapleton Fire Rescue appoints chief, deputy chiefs, fire inspector
MAPLETON – After almost nine months without one, Mapleton council has officially appointed a permanent fire chief for Mapleton Fire Rescue.
Under the new fire services agreement between Mapleton, Minto and Wellington North, Chief Chris Harrow is fire chief for all three municipalities.
Harrow has been chief for Minto and Wellington North since the two departments entered an agreement to share a chief in May 2020.
The agreement adding Mapleton into the mix came into effect on April 1.
And during its meeting on April 9, Mapleton council officially approved the appointment of Harrow as Mapleton Fire Rescue chief.
Under the same agreement Callise Loos and Marco Guidotti serve as deputy chiefs for all three municipalities, and Cameron Forbes serves as fire inspector.
