Mapleton plans three ‘Welcome Week’ events
MAPLETON - The township is planning to host three Welcome Week Newcomers Receptions this month.
The events will run from 6 to 8pm:
- in Moorefield on Sept. 12 from at the Maryborough Community Centre;
- at the PMD arena in Drayton on Sept. 14; and
- at the Alma Community Centre in Alma on Sept. 15.
Newcomers to the community are invited to meet representatives of local community groups and organizations, obtain information on township and county services and pick up recycle and organics bins. Snacks will be provided and Mapleton “swag bags” will be given out.
