This township will hold a public meeting in the new year on proposed changes to the municipality’s development charges bylaw.

The changes include a controversial proposal to implement development charges for agricultural construction projects that has been opposed by area farm organizations and residents.

The public meeting is on Jan. 26 at 7pm in the Mapleton council chamber. Council hopes to pass an updated bylaw by Feb. 21.
