MARTIN, Mary M.
Passed away peacefully at her home, on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the age of 71. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband Laverne B. Martin. Dear mother of Ellen & Edwin Bearinger, Lorene & Clare Bowman, Lawrence & Doreen Martin, and Miriam & Murray Bowman, all of Mount Forest. She will be missed by her six grandsons and 13 granddaughters. She is survived by one brother and six sisters: Esther (Wesley) Weber, Lena (Eldon) Frey, Martha (Lester) Martin, Edna (Levi) Frey, Paul (Irene) Bearinger, Anna (Floyd) Martin, and Amy (Harvey) Bowman. She is predeceased by two daughters in infancy, one grandson, her parents Amsey & Louisa Bearinger, parents-in-law Jereimah & Selinda Martin, brother-in-law Edward, sisters-in-law Maryann and Lorene. She is also survived by Israel Martin, Minerva (Elam) Weber, Esther (Leonard) Wideman, sister-in-law Isobel and Mahlon Frey, and brother-in-law Mose (Leah) Weber. Visitation was held at the family home, 9570 Concession 6 North Arthur Township, Mount Forest, on Friday, May 2nd from 5:00 – 8:00pm, Saturday from 1:00 – 5:00pm and Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00pm. Family service was on Monday, May 5th at 9:00am, then to Spring Creek Mennonite Meetinghouse, 9596 Concession 6 North Arthur Township for public burial and further services. England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, entrusted with arrangements.
