McCABE, Stella Catherine

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Louise Marshall Hospital, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Terrance “Terry” McCabe (2017). Loving mother of Patricia (Don), Marilyn (Chris), Theresa (Matt), Rose (Jim), Dorothy (Janek), Janice (Tony), and Steven (Michelle). Dear grandmother of Amanda (Nick), Justiene (Greg), Will (Katharina), Rebecca, Derick, Janine (Jake), Jacob (Aislynn), Jesse, Emma, Aiden, Zoe, Tessa, Jenn (Mike), and Mackay. Great-grandmother of Gracie, Raya, Lena, Kinsley and Maya. Survived by her brother, Fr. Gerald Mulhall, and her sister, Myrtle Gorman (late Jim). Stella will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her siblings: Helen (Pat), Pat (Georgina), Eileen (Vince, Leo), Bill (Dora) and Lou (Donna). Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Thursday, April 11th from 1:00 – 3:00pm & 6:00 – 9:00pm with Prayers at 1:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 9141 Highway 6, Kenilworth, on Saturday, April 13th at 11:30am. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
