MCDOUGALL, Anna Mae (née Johnston)
Anna Mae McDougall, age 100, of Elora, Ontario passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, Ontario, on June 12, 2024 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Clinton McDougall. Proud mother of Allan (Holly) and Danny (Colleen). She is preceded in death by her parents George and Viola Johnston, her sisters Doreen Ireland, Lorna Bolen and her brother Murray Johnston. Grandmother to Christopher (Christina), Danielle (Ben) and Brianna (Garth); and great-grandmother to Lindsay, Adalynn, Emerson and Bennett. Anna grew up in Fergus and married Clint some 76 plus years ago. They farmed in West Garafraxa and retired to Elora in 1977. Anna and Clint both enjoyed the Saturday night dances in the area. Funeral services was held on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 at the Elora Municipal Cemetery, 367 South Street, Elora. Immediately thereafter, a light lunch took place at Knox Presbyterian Church, 51 Church Street East, Elora. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Anna are asked to consider Knox Presbyterian Church or Groves Memorial Hospital.
