Meeting on refugee aid efforts set for Feb. 6
In response to the high level of interest and support received from Mapleton churches and residents for the Syrian refugee crisis, an information meeting has been scheduled for Feb. 6 from 9:30 to 11:30am at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church (88 Main Street East).
The meeting is hosted by World Renew and everyone is invited to learn more about bringing refugees to Canada.
The event will be of interest to those who are considering sponsorship, are currently involved in sponsoring refugees or would like to know more about any aspect of refugee resettlement.
