Shoes at Melville – On the June 5-6 weekend Melville United Church in Fergus lined shoes on their steps, and tied 215 orange ribbons to their trees. The ribbons will be up for 215 days to honour the 215 children whose remains were found at Kamloops residential school. The ribbons will be up for 215 days to honour the 215 children whose remains were found at a former Kamloops residential school.
