Merry Christmas

As the Member of Provincial Parliament for Wellington-Halton Hills, it is my distinct pleasure to wish everyone in our Riding the very best at Christmas.

In our home, Christmas is the most special time of the year. It is the time for gathering together with family and friends. It is also the time for giving and sharing the joy, peace and love of the season.

For Christians, it is the time to celebrate and give thanks for the birth of Christ. His teaching and example call us to love and care for one another, not just at Christmas time, but all year round.

I want to thank all who volunteer with our many community service organizations, for their caring efforts to reach out to those in need. Let’s continue to support them, and do whatever we can to ensure that everyone has a Merry Christmas this year.

Again this coming January, my wife Lisa and I are planning three free family skates on successive Sunday afternoons. On Jan. 10, we look forward to seeing everyone at Mold-Masters SportsPlex in Georgetown from 2:15 to 3:45pm. Then, on Jan. 17, we will be at the Acton Arena and Community Centre from 2 to 3:30pm.

The following week, on Jan. 24, we are planning to be in Aberfoyle at the Optimist Recreation Centre outdoor rink from 2 to 4pm.
