METZGER, Lloyd

of Palmerston passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Palmerston and District Hospital in his 82nd year. Lloyd is survived by his sister Shirleen Pellet and was the bother-in-law of Marion Metzger, June Metzger and Dianne Metzger. He is fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Eva (Doberthein) Metzger and brothers Ronald, Charlie, Eugene (Sonny) Elwood, Laverne (Binny), twin brother Floyd Metzger and sisters-in-law Elaine and Bernice. To honour Lloyds wishes cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held in Palmerston Cemetery. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life at the Frank Lambier Legion, Branch 409, Palmerston on Saturday, October 18, 2025 2:00 to 5:00pm for a casual with remembrances at 3:30pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Frank Lambier Legion would be appreciated by the family.
