Milton man charged in sexual assault at Fergus business

FERGUS – Police have charged a Milton man with sexual assault and sexual interference after a teenage girl was assaulted at work.

On Nov. 22, Wellington County OPP responded to a report that "a female youth was the victim of a sexual assault by her supervisor while working at a business on Tower Street South" in Fergus, police stated in a Dec. 22 press release.

Navpreet Singh Nahar, 30, of Milton, was charged with sexual assault on a person under 16 and sexual interference.

He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
