MINTO – Minto Minor Hockey’s U11 Mad Dogs came in first place at the Regional Silver Stick Tournament in Wingham on Nov. 30, winning the final game 4-3 in double overtime. “This small but mighty team of 11 worked hard all weekend and came out on top, earning the championship,” team officials stated. Head coach Charlie Wagler said he’s ”extremely proud of how far each player has come this season – win or lose, that never changes.” The Mad Dogs will now advance to the International Silver Stick Tournament in January.
