Remembrance in Minto - Minto Remembrance Day services were held in Palmerston and Harriston on Nov. 11 and in Clifford on Nov. 10. The Harriston Legion colour party led the march from Branch 296 to the cenotaph in Harriston.

Clifford remembers - A large crowd gathered along the road to await the Remembrance Day Service on Nov. 10 at the cenotaph in Clifford. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 296 president Hugh Clunas read the Act of Remembrance to which all gathered repeated, “We will remember them.” Clunas thanked Harriston Legion members for their support of the Clifford service and Anne South for her role as poppy fund chairperson.
