MINTO - The Minto Youth Action Council (MYAC) is being re-formed following a year long hiatus from activity.

Area youth interested in becoming more involved with their community are invited to join the council. In the past, MYAC has hosted youth dances, Halloween Costume and Prom Dress Swap Shoppe events, as well as participating in wider Minto events, like Harriston's Street Party.

MYAC also offers youth a unique opportunity to become a voice and advocate for youth perspectives, both for community groups seeking guidance on how to better reach younger segments of the population, and as part of delegations to the Minto town council.

In partnership with the Integrated Youth Services Network, MYAC will be holding a virtual meeting on July 13 at 6pm. For more information, or to register for the meeting, email melanie@minto.town.on.ca. Youth between the ages of 12 to 26 are welcome to attend.
