MORGAN, William David “Bill”
Born in Stewartstown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph. Husband of 61 years to Isabel. Father to David (Bella), Kenneth and Lynne (Michael). Grandfather to Andrew (Ali), Christopher (Joddie), Ashley (Jonathan), Jenessa (Kelly), Michael and James. Great Grandfather to Aubree, Peyton, Paxton and Layne. Adored by his devoted canine buddy Leo. Family was always Bill’s number one priority, an animal lover, a true and committed friend to many. Bill’s great love for horses lead him to the world and many adventures of harness racing, an owner of many trotters and pacers. He was an avid sport fan of hockey and baseball. Bill was an outstanding soccer and field hockey player; a die hard Manchester United supporter! He loved fishing, and was a keen/green thumb gardener. Bill’s career in business, finance and President of Sweda Canada, gave him opportunities to travel across the globe. Bill was a well- rounded person, a stable, positive, and supportive influence to all that knew him; he will be greatly missed. As per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers; donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Fergus Dog Park would be greatly appreciated.
