MORTON, Marilyn Nelda
It is with great sadness the family of Marilyn Nelda Morton announces her passing on June 28, 2024 at the farm with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Dick Morton (2020), parents Ruth and Oz Smith and brother Bob. Loving Mother of Jeremy (Megan) and Matthew (Shannon). Dear Sister of Kathy (Grant) and Andy. Treasured Nana of Kendra (Daniel), Taylor (Austin), Haleigh, Blake, Zayne, Tessa and Isabelle. Marilyn will be greatly missed by her loyal furry companion Finnegan. Marilyn will be remembered by many sisters and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews; her tea, quilting and church ladies, the nursing and church community. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s United Church, 28 Queen St, Belwood on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Aboyne Rural Hospice or St. John’s United Church, Belwood.
