Mount Forest citizens receive Excellence Awards

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce held their Excellence Awards ceremony on Oct. 18.
Crystal Steffler was awarded the Citizen of the Year award at the event. “When it comes to helping a neighbour, volunteering with the Lions Club or providing outstanding care for her clients, she’s always there,” stated one of her nominators.
Youth Citizen of the Year went to John Ray. Nominators spoke highly of Ray’s involvement in the community and who he is as a person.
Ray can often be found at Big John’s Country Market working hard as a farmer.
Erin Kiers, owner of Hybrid Hair and Detox Spa, won the 2024 Excellence Award for Corporate Citizen of the Year.
The Arny Feairs Customer Service Award went to 2 Tech Automotive Repair.
