Mount Forest Lions host raffle to support Christmas Hamper Program
Grocery card raffle - Mount Forest Lions Club members have been taking advantage of the sunny fall weather to set up outdoors to sell grocery card raffle tickets. Selling tickets at the Wellington Street entrance to Mount Forest Foodland last week were Emma Jeffries, Jim Hilgartner, Dan MacArthur and Kelly Dimick. Prizes include grocery store vouchers from No Frills, Foodland and M&M Food Market, as well as at The Spot and Mount Forest Tavern. Winners will be drawn on Oct. 9 and all proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the town’s Christmas Hamper Program and community recreation. Photo by Lynne Turner
