Music for Young Children at Cloverbuds 4-H meeting
The West Luther Cloverbuds held their first meeting of the year on April 27.
We had Tanis Cowan from Mapleton’s Music for Young Children come to visit us with her box of bells, shakers, tambourines and xylophone.
We learned about different instruments, tones and musical notes.
We made our own tambourines and shaker instruments.
We played musical chairs and freeze dancing. We finished our meeting with a snack. Our next meeting is May 11 and the topic is chocolate. Cloverbuds are 4-H members who are 6 to 9 years old. This year the West Luther Cloverbud Club has 32 members.
